Hi, I’m Lo!
A few years ago, I packed up my life, my rescue dog Willow, and a whole lot of uncertainty and moved from Illinois to Alaska.
What started as an adventure turned into a complete life reset!
Today, I call Southeast Alaska home, where I split my time between small-town life, travel, photography, outdoor adventures, and documenting what it actually looks like to build a life that feels intentional instead of automatic.

My Story
For most of my life, I never imagined I’d end up living in Alaska.
I grew up in Illinois, built a career there, and followed a path that looked fairly ordinary from the outside. But over time, I started feeling pulled toward something different.
I’ve always loved to travel, so when the opportunity to move to Alaska presented itself, I decided to take the leap – even though I had no idea exactly what would happen next!
That decision changed everything. Since then, I’ve learned how to adapt to small-town Alaska life, embraced RV living, traveled thousands of miles with my rescue dog Willow, and discovered that some of the best experiences happen when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone.
Alaska has taught me that growth rarely happens when life feels predictable. It happens when you’re willing to trust yourself enough to try something new.
